We are pleased to be selling today at the Sandpipers 20th Annual Charity Fashion Show and Luncheon at the Beverly Wilshire.
We are here and selling like crazy. The best part is that people really get it. Why go to the supermarket after the farmers market when you can get most of your home and body products right here!
So many other awesome vendors here too: mushroom lady, homeboy bakery, crepes, enchiladas, cheese guy, etc.
Come on down for a free sample! We’re here ’till 2:00.
We’re also one of the few vendors that take credit cards.
You may have seen your first glimpse of Refyll at the Mar Vista Farmers Market on Sunday. Refyll was proud to host the Mar Vista Community Green Tent, providing information about reducing, refilling and reusing rather than only recycling.
We’re pretty sure everyone who stopped by was on board with our concept, but it was good to meet some of our future customers and talk about all of the options for containers and and other non-disposable solutions we believe work. The stainless steel straws were a hit, BTW; too bad we couldn’t have sold them (note to self…buy a crate of s/s straws before first market booth). Also, plenty of friends stopped to by to show there support and ease some nerves.
It was tough not to sell any of our items as we were there purely for education. The excitement about our products was palpable, though, and we expect to have a serious sell-out come December, when our first booth goes up at the same market.
The husbands are a little concerned about our location at the Market in December, so they are considering walking around with sandwich boards to move people down to the booth (currently down a side street between the knife sharpener and mushroom lady). We’ll post a map just in case they change their minds.
